Solving relationship conflict.
Couple’s counselling entails the inclusion of spouses or partners, married or not, in individual therapy to help in understanding and solving relationship conflict. The therapist, in couple’s counselling sessions, equips the couple with skills to build mutually-beneficial and healthy relationships. Couple’s counselling provides a safe space for individuals to explore their relationships with the therapist acting as a sounding board.
Couple’s counselling aims at helping couples;
Understand individuality in the relationship context
Improve their communication skills and patterns
Create deeper and meaningful connections
Identify and solve conflict
Recognize the effects of external factions such as society on the development and sustainability of relationships.
